What do you think of this?

Hi all.I live in Iran. There's an Iranian pop music which I found quite meaningful. It's a sentimental song and very enjoyable.I tried to translate it.What do you think of this song?Do you like it?

"Imagine it.Even if it's hard to imagine.A world in which everyone is the most furtunate.A world in which money and race and power are not valueble. The answer to be united is not the anti-revolution police. There's no nuclear weapon, no bomber, no morter-shell.No child leaves his leg on mine any more.Everyone is free.Everyone is painless. You won't read in newspaper that the whales have commited suicide anymore.Imagine a world without hatred and gun-powder.Whitout self-centered cruelness.Whitout horror and coffin.Imagine a world full of smile and freedom.Full of flower and kiss.Full of repetition of happiness.Imagine it.Even if it's a crime to imagine.Even if your throat fills with sadness by naming it.Imagine a world in which prison is a myth. All world-wars have been included to cease fire.No one is the Mr of the world.Everyone is equal with one another. From now on every wheat is for every human.Without any borders and limitations, homland means the whole world.Imagine it.You can make this dream come true."

What do you think of this?
Wow, This is came straight from the heart, I wish we don't have to imagine this...

The part-whales were out committing suicide?

I think this is about water pollution?

The part-Even if it's a crime to imagine.

I think this is about no freedom of speech?

======================================...

This is John Lennon:

Imagine there's no heaven

It's easy if you try

No hell below us

Above us only sky

Imagine all the people

Living for today...

Imagine there's no countries

It isn't hard to do

Nothing to kill or die for

And no religion too

Imagine all the people

Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will be as one

Imagine no possessions

I wonder if you can

No need for greed or hunger

A brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people

Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer

But I'm not the only one

I hope someday you'll join us

And the world will live as one

======================================...

John Lennon's lyrics has no directions, after all John is only a dreamer Living a very illresponsible way in the 70's hippies era

His lyrics an't solve any problems.

John Lennon said, "Imagine all the people

Living for today..."

Well, I think we should all have something to look forward like tommorow like hope, joy, peace. We should sometimes live for the benefits of others.

The lyric of John Lennon is like a baby rhyme, perhaps asking for more milk, he doesn't know where he's heading.

I think the Iranian has more meaning in a sense that it is closer to reality and a dream that we can all realistially work on.

Iran-"Imagine it.Even if it's hard to imagine"

Me=Trying to imagine in a war torn country, this takes a lot of faith.

Iran"All world-wars have been included to cease fire"

Me- We still live in a world of wars and wepons, we can't imagine this away but we an all cease fire..

Me=I am just glad I don't have to imagine anymore, because I have Jesus, and his the truth the way and the life.

You can have omplete peace if you believe in him too, and that is a promise.

God Bless You
Reply:It's easy to compare it to Lennon's "Imagine." Just look at the content. It's not the language, it's the message that people like. Report It

Reply:perhaps on a different plane of existence this might be possible. however, there are to many here who want control over others for this to happen -- at least in this period of time -- sad to say.
Reply:Sounds an awful lot like John Lennon's "Imagine".
Reply:Beautiful song that is. And you are right it is quite miningful, and you know nice english. Take care and believe.
Reply:it is what the younger population in middleeastern countrys beleive but the power there is in the hands of old power and church beleifs
Reply:Sounds like someone ripped off John Lennon :)

I pretty much like the sentiment of the song, and I hope it's popular in Iran...but I didn't know whales were out committing suicide?;-)
Reply:Greetings,

I don't know anything about music, but what you have there is exactly what the Christian bible spells out for all true believers of Jesus Christ for their reward in the end. This is what will take place after Christ establishes His Kingdom and all true believers have been ressurected or transfigured into a body that is completely pure and clean to live for eternity.
Reply:Heaven will be better than that for those who accept Jesus as their personal savior.
Reply:Such a utopian society will never exist I'm afraid...

How sad...
Reply:Amazing. can you translate it into swedish?

You see I am Irish..

I hope you understand..
Reply:wow
