Can chicken eggs shell (crushed) be used as fertliser in flower plants?

most plants do! Let them dry good first or you may get mold. Crush them up and if possible mix it up in the soil a bit. Another good thing for plants is the water that you cook veggies in... of course when you drain the fluid off, let it cool and plants love this! They will get nice and green! Coffee ground is good too. But just like anything use all in moderation... too much may not always be a good thing.

YES! I put a single egg shell in a mid sized aloe plant Ive had forever and the thing shot up to HUGE size out of nowhere.

Use those egg shells boy!
Reply:My grandmother used crushed egg shells to settle the coffee grounds in her boiled coffee. They used to make coffee like that. Then she spread the coffe grounds and shells around her rose bushes. She grew beautiful roses.
Reply:yes...definitely!!!! also, the sharp edges cut and deter slugs as do pennies dated before 1984. The copper shocks them.....cruel yes, however I hate those slugs!!!
Reply:Yes, and they love it for the calcium and other minerals. They also like weak tea and coffee grounds.
Reply:Yes it is good for plants! Also the water you boil eggs with pour over plants after cools down they love that like liquid vitamins! Good luck!
Reply:Probably one of the best things you can use for fertilizer is crushed egg shells. I believe it's nitrogen that it offers. Another awesome thing is fish carcasses . . . but they can attract rodents like raccoons etc.
