Anything I can do for a wounded turtle/tortoise?
I was walking in my neighborhood and found a turtle on his back. I flipped him over and there was a spot of blood on the pavement and his shell. :-( I put him under a tree near some weeds and flowers. I don't know if he's got a home and fell (we live near a lot of stairs). I hate to just leave the poor traumatized little guy there but maybe he has an owner that will look for him later. If you have any experience at all, I'd love your advice. Thanks in advance!

I would take him to a vet, tell them you found him and where and then walk away. I would hope they would care for him (if they can, it may be too far gone) and release him back into the wild.

i dated ashlle for about 9 mo. while she had a bf. one day she says that she cant see two people anymore so its over. a couple months later she comes to me begging. saying that she loves me. We start going out as she was my gf. one night i had to go to church which was at 7 to 8. which i let her know.she said that jane was going to dye her hair. at 9 she says shell be right over. at 1030 she shows up. im pissed . Another time she says out of nowhere that she is going shopping w her mom. i tried calling but she said her phone died and she had to wait for her mom because she was drunk. came back later looking guilty and quiet. then the other day she said her friend jane was being sexually harrassed at work and that jane wanted her to be there. she comes back like 5 hours later with no calls or nothing. then she goes to school a couple of days later she says and i go up to school to drop off flowers and her car wasnt there. i get pissed and go off a couple days later she says needs time

wilfred owen's poem is about the mass-slaughter of the the first world war.
poems written early in the war tended to be enthusiastic about the prospect of fighting an 'enemy'. then as the war went on poets began to ask whether there was any real point in so many young men dying.
in this poem owen talks about the way that death in war is not only brutal, but undignified.
the 'passing bell' is the church bell which is usually rung when someone has died. no bells are rung when young men die in war - they die in huge numbers, and without the dignity of a funeral ('like cattle').
there are no church bells, but there is the sound of artillery ('monstrous anger') and of rifle-fire. perhaps these sounds will do instead. ('orisons' are formalised prayers: in this case the prayers said at a funeral mass).
there are no choirs - except the singing of the artillery shells as they fly through the air - and no music except the bugle-calls.
and there are no funeral candles. or rather the 'funeral candles' are the tears in the eyes of their soldier friends who are still alive.
there is no white sheet to wrap them in. the only white thing is the face of their girlfriend when she hears that her fiancé is dead on the battle-field.
and the only real remembrance that they are dead is the way that their parents (hundreds of miles away, and in a different country) will draw the curtains closed each evening, and remember that their son will never again come home.

I just got the game animal crossing and i've just started and i've got up to the part where i've finished work and the flower fest is on. After that what do i do. there's nothing to do apart from collect peaches and shells and sell them to Tom Nook. I've been everywhere and haven't found anything else to do.

Hi. The truth is Animal Crossing is a good game but after work you dont work again. You could:
Collect fruits
pay off your mortgage
Speak to your animal friends
Sometimes visitors come and you con get stuff of then if you talk to them a lot.
Collect Furnature
Collect clothes
look for fossils
and join in with events that are on.
Animal Crossing doesnt really have a storyline but it is quite cool. Oh and you could also
Go Fishing and catch butterflies and that. You must purchase the shovel, a net and a slingshot.

Well, you see, my grampa was watering flowers in our backyard. And he found a turtle and brought it in. We decided to keep it as a pet.Only too bad cuz we don't know anything about him/her. We don't know what kind of turtle he/she is either. Its orange and black and his shell has stripes and circles...It also has bumps like our spinal cords...Just tell me what type of turtle it is.. The rest is optional!

You shouldn't of kept it. The turtle was used to eating wild natural food and now your going to feed him turtle processed pet food from a store. He may not adjust to the change properly, and he/she could die from the shock.
Try and feed him natural foods, like he would eat in the wild. I'm trying to do a search and find out what kind of turtle it is..and see what kind of food he/she eats.

Southern Painted Turtle
or a...
Box Turtle (I read that they may live for 100 years)

It goes with most of the stuff i have.

5- a ring with lots of pretty flowers that is kinda big (maybe the size of a penny) colors would be white, gold, blue, purple, all colors
